چکیده
In addition to the benefits, recent developments and cost reductions have sparked interest in fiber optical sensing. order optic sensors must be made, researchers integrated optoelectronic devices with telecommunications' byproducts. past few decades, numerous studies using various research methods been carried out. The most popular sensor types for optics are those based on intensity, phase, wavelength. An overview of their uses is provided this paper. Keywords: Fiber optics, smart systems, interferometry, microbending, Bragg gratings (FBGs)

Fiber-Optic Chemical Sensors and Fiber-Optic Bio-Sensors
This review summarizes principles and current stage of development of fiber-optic chemical sensors (FOCS) and biosensors (FOBS). Fiber optic sensor (FOS) systems use the ability of optical fibers (OF) to guide the light in the spectral range from ultraviolet (UV) (180 nm) up to middle infrared (IR) (10 μm) and modulation of guided light by the parameters of the surrounding environment of the OF...
متن کاملFiber Optic Sensors
Fiber optic sensor technology offers the possibility of sensing different parameters like strain, temperature, pressure in harsh environment and remote locations. these kinds of sensors modulates some features of the light wave in an optical fiber such an intensity and phase or use optical fiber as a medium for transmitting the measurement information. The advantages of fiber optic sensors in c...
متن کاملInterferometric Fiber Optic Sensors
Fiber optic interferometers to sense various physical parameters including temperature, strain, pressure, and refractive index have been widely investigated. They can be categorized into four types: Fabry-Perot, Mach-Zehnder, Michelson, and Sagnac. In this paper, each type of interferometric sensor is reviewed in terms of operating principles, fabrication methods, and application fields. Some s...
متن کاملOptically Powered Fiber Optic Sensors
Optically Powered Fiber Optic Sensors (OPFOS) combine the advantages of fiber optic and microelectronic technologies [1-12]. Fiber optic and partially Fiber Optic Sensors (FOS) offer advantages that are significant in the field of variety of industrial, military and medical applications. FOS are immune to electromagnetic interference (EMI), they have low thermal and mechanical inertia, and they...
